Choosing a second-row van seat usually comes down to a frustrating trade-off: narrow seats that cost a lot, or wide benches without integrated belts. The Duo SX is one of the few seats we've found that handles both width and integrated 3-point restraints.

• Real two-person width. 44" across — enough room for two adults to sit comfortably, not a token bench you'd squeeze a kid into.
• Integrated 3-point seat belts. Frame-anchored automotive-style restraints built into the seat.
• Folds into a sleeping platform. The seat bottoms flip forward to create a flat 45" deep surface — usable as a kid's bunk on its own, or extends into a full-length bed when paired with front swivel seats.
• Beige leather upholstery. Wipe-clean automotive-grade synthetic leather. Hides crumbs and dirt better than darker colors in a van environment.
• Reinforced steel frame. Heavy-duty construction for use with passengers belted in.

This product is the seat itself. Most builders pair it with one or both of these add-ons (you'll see them on the right side of the page where you add to cart):

• Floor Track (+$1,200) — lets the seat slide forward/back along a track. Recommended if you want flexibility in how the second row sits relative to your kitchen or front seats.
• SWIVEL Click In/Out Seat Base (+$1,400) — lets the entire seat rotate to face the rear of the van, doubling your lounge seating when parked. Click in/out means you can pop the seat out completely when you need to haul cargo.

You can buy the seat without either add-on if you have your own mounting solution.

• Ford Transit (mid and high-roof)
• Ram ProMaster (high-roof)

Before you buy, make sure your build has:

• At least 45" of width for the bench itself
• At least 22" of depth in seating position, 47" in bed mode
• Access to vehicle floor structure for secure mounting (this seat anchors to the metal floor, not a wooden subfloor alone)

Floor-mounted installation. Professional installation is strongly recommended for this product, because:

• Seat belt anchors must be properly bolted into the vehicle's structural floor metal
• Mounting must be done correctly for the seat to perform as designed
• DIY installation may affect insurance coverage — check with your provider

If you're an experienced builder, the seat ships ready to install with included hardware. If you're new to van builds, get it done by a shop — this is the one component where it really matters.

• Cleaning: Wipe with mild soap and a damp cloth. The synthetic leather handles spills well, but don't soak it.
• Avoid: Bleach, harsh solvents, oil-based cleaners
• Belts: Check anchor points and belt webbing annually for wear
